Disappearing Coolant, Dealer Is Stumped

OP, have the system pressure tested at the dealer.
I've had 2 water pumps replaced due to leaks. First leak was leaving puddles, however the second was NOT. I was slowly losing coolant.
That said, I'm still slowly losing coolant. Over 12k miles I'd be down 2-4 cups, maybe. Who knows - I've had the system pressure tested twice after the second pump and continued coolant loss, and both times no pressure loss was detected. This was at the same dealer that had no problem detecting pressure loss due to a very slow leak to warrant 2nd water pump replacement. So who knows, they are most likely being honest.

They have pressure tested it twice now, no leaks.
Your reply is what I'm looking for. More people slowly losing coolant without a reason.

Welcome to the "Sonics with a drinking problem" club. 
I didn't have any noticeable leaks for the first 13k of this car's life but it continued to lose coolant. Suddenly it started leaking so the dealer kept it for 2 days to diagnose and pressure test when cold. Water pump was replaced under warranty.
My coolant level was slightly above the fill line post-repair, now it is right even with the fill line. I will continue to monitor, but to be brutally honest it will not be anything surprising if it continues to lose coolant. I see evidence of it puking some out of the surge tank vent. Barring any external or internal leak, is it plausible that it's just getting boiled off from the high engine temperatures the 1.4L sees?

You would think.
But I'm willing to bet GM doesn't think so.
I guess the powertrain could function without it at low power for a few minutes....

mine likes to sip coolant also.. its not much.. maybe i have added a cup or two since i got her.. i got 10,000 on her now.
i just hope it not something that gets worse with mileage.
