Better Performance at Half Throttle?

Hello, as the title suggests, I've always felt as though I got a harder pull at half throttle, but more engine noise at full throttle. I was browsing the BNR website, and I saw the BNR LS7 Coil Upgrade. One of the reviews mirrored my opinion. My question is, what causes the car to pull harder at half throttle than full throttle, could just a BNR tune resolve the issue, or will I have to actually purchase the coil upgrade also to feel like I'm actually putting my foot down?

Your accelerator pedal does not have a direct throttle connection. If you consider the phrase "torque demand pedal" that's more accurate.

You demand torque, the computer calculates available traction and applies power. By "feathering" the throttle you're not making a major demand so the car will respond with oomph... try WOT pulls on the same stretch of road and you won't be going any faster.

I practice left foot braking while I daily drive (keeps me in practice for racing) and notice a sizeable acceleration difference out of corners when applying slight brake pressure. The computer is fooled into thinking the brakes are providing more traction and doesn't bog at all (also helps that I have the abs fuse pulled but I wouldn't advise that for most drivers)
