Oh there is so much you can play with...all sorts of fun stuff.

I haven't done anything to mine. I may not mess with it unless I decide to not sell it. New transmission is going in Monday and after that I'll see what I think.

Very nice, I've been seriously considering this! Not just for the tuning aspect, everyone knows Trifecta has that nailed down, I think I would also get some personal enjoyment from getting in there and checking out the possibilities.

pwntbywombat: One thing I would want to do is lower the operating temp from the ~220 it runs at now to something closer to 190, I imagine that has to be pretty straight forward. Post everything you do and what you see because I'll be watching with anticipation! :banana:

I am poking around with the CAGS settings right now. So far no luck.

CAGS is computer aided gear shifting. It's the crap that forces you from 1st to 4th in cars like camaros and firebirds and GTOs so GM can claim better MPG.

I know, but I was reading on vette forums and thats what also controls the shift light itself.

Cut the traces on the PCB for the HUD...that will turn it off lol

Crack open tach and cover it with electrical tape.... Keep the wire...

It's not a shift light like on an aftermarket tach, it's an LCD segment like the speedometer numbers

The shift light isn't in the tach.

All the other annoying lights are though. The E. Brake, TCS, and TPMS are always lit up in mine. It looks like Christmas all year round.
