I live in a state that doesn't require Emission Inspections
I'm installing an Injen SP3075BLK Air Intake System in my 1.8L LS
I pop my hood open to see the layout of my engine before i made the purchase after looking at the Owner's Manual. I notice that my Sonic 1.8 LS has some 1.5"tubing coming out of the housing of my STOCK air filter. It isn't shown in any diagram in the Owner's Manual. The tubing leads to some black bulb shaped housing component. that component has an electrical plug in as well. Would post pics, but at work.
I'm assuming its emissions equipment. How do i remove it without giving my Sonic's Computer an error??? I'm removing it regardless. just need advice
