Default Installed my tune today

I installed the Trifecta 1.4 turbo Advantage tune today, and WOW, what a difference. I can really feel the power when I step on the gas pedal!. I also installed a K&N High Flow Air Filter, but I'm sure it's the tune that's making the big difference.

I've read quite a few comments in which people insist on using 93 octane with this tune. Here in the Phoenix area, 93 is hard to find, but 91 is common. Hopefully that will be adequate.

Is it true that if I switch on the cruise control it reverts back to the stock tune?

I have an appointment to get my windows tinted next week. Will I need to upgrade to the Elite tune? <----- (just kidding)

Higher altitude areas usually don't carry 93 octane. 91 is fine. According to Trifecta, enabling cruise control reverts it to stock boost. If you need convincing run a test with your car, should notice the difference.

poking around the forum last several days as i try to get my head around the whats/whys/hows/$$ required to get a bit more out of my '13 RS 6MT. she's all paid for so i'm likely going to keep her for a while.

ANYWAY, was just on TrifectaPerformance site and read this C/P (the bold is mine):

With the December 2015 update, TRIFECTA Driver Selectable Vehicle Modes, version 2 (DSVM II) is included. Select between SPORT and STOCK mode, on the fly with the cruise control arming switch.
Cruise control system functionality is completely retained and unaffected by DSVM II.
