Default Some newbie questions

I've done some light modding on the 1.8 I used to have. Since then I have traded it for a 1.4 RS and decided to go with a tune. I bought a CAI from MpFab, a Catback from ZZP and a the Forge bypass and tune from BNR. I've never messed around with tuning before. How does it work? Will they send me a base tune to start with based on my mods? The only tuning I've ever messed with was Bama on a 2015 ecoboost stang and everything was just plug-n-play. Take it easy on me to. Like I said I've never jumped this deep into a vehicle before. Lol

A downpipe helps. They will send you a base tune after you read your ecm with their tuner and email it. Then you data log it and they revise if necessary.

Is it a recirculating bypass valve?

Our tuning is very simple to us, and we can even remote control your computer and help you out if you get stuck. Don't worry- we're always available to help, pretty much 24/7.

What kind of power gains did you see with your set up? Curious because I have the same set up, except my CAI is ZZP. By the seat of your pants scale, very noticable

I actually have similar questions because I have mods stacking up back home for when I get back after deployment but the tune will have to wait till I'm back due to me not knowing things like exact mileage and VIN off the top of my head. I know things like the DP and CAI can be installed with no real issue before the tune or should I just wait till I have the tune in hand to install or install then get the tune? Keep in mind this is also my daily so I need as low down time as possible.
