Glad the write up helped. If this is your only mod, yeah you prob won't hear much. SRI and snorkle removal will help a lot.

I'm still on stock boost and I didn't figure there was any specific way to orient the bpv at all. Kind of disappointed I can't hear it.

So if I get this BPV. I need to Bypass the Bypass. But I'm auto and I'll need to get a tune to get rid of the code from bypassing the bypass? Forge also makes the Wastegate. So maybe I'll do both at once if I feel capable,

Hahaha NO.

Getting a new BOV is not tied in any way to doing the "bypass mod"

aftermarket BOV's are noise makers

Bypass mod is supposed to give firmer acceleration when turbo kicks in. Idea being that stock system is designed to leak a little boost pressure a smoother shift. Only nuts like us want that firm shift because it means you're getting all the boost.

My .02. The smart people on here might give a better explanation but hopefully you get the gist.

Ya, I'll be doing the bypass and installing the forge bpv and my boost gauge/tb spacer ( which will also leave the option down the road to do the pcv Cruze mod as well) once I see what the findings are on my intake manifold this Friday.

Lila is awesome btw. The framing of the question just struck me funny. But I get it. It can be confusing.

I did the bypass and I'm auto.. it really does make it shift better, as for my BOV I have the forge one but had to take it off due to dealership work being done... waiting to do a bigger exhaust system to reinstall
