Sonic engine stalls

2014 Sonic hatchback ,1.8 engine,automatic transmission. This Sonic runs great while at highway speeds,but once you start driving slow,as at a shopping center,the Sonic will quit running.The Sonic won't start back unless you push down on fuel pedal,it will then start and run till you start going slow again.HELP me to figure this out.

I'd say fuel filter.
I had one clog on my Riviera, wouldn't run idle, but highway fine.
Change that first and see if that helps......
Also look under hood for any torn hoses, or disconnected vacuum lines

Did you try taking it to the dealer? I'm pretty sure anybody else would have told you the same thing. Check fuel filter and check hoses.
