Please post what car you have and what kind of screw ups you've found the factory has made.
I already saw someone had a trunk out of alignment.
I recently noticed something wrong with my driver seat. The long plastic clip that is sewn onto the fabric and clips onto the metal bracket on the front of the seat had popped out. I re-clipped it in and it fell out of the metal bracket again not a day later. I took a look under the seat to see what could possibly let this continue to happen, and then I saw the culprit. It was the metal bracket that the plastic clips on is welded to the seat; One side of it wasn't welded at all! There was a weld bead on the bracket, but not on joint, so the machine they were using to weld this part of the seat was way out of calibration when they did my seat. Kinda pissed something like this would miss QA inspections, i mean ITS A FREGGN WELD!! With the weld missing at that joint, the bottom part of the seat moves up and down about 1/2" as I depress the clutch. This movement allows the plastic clip to pop off.
Ill be taking it back to the dealer soon, and Im going to bet they will give me a whole new seat. I just hate the fact that they have to take it all apart since its a new car. It also makes me question other welds in the vehicle...
