With some internet searching I found an answer. Combination of a cheap gauge and to much pressure coming from the vacuum line make the needle bounce rapidly causing a clicking sound. I found a connector at pep boys with a restrictor in it to slow down the pressure. It did not get rid of the clicking completely but you can barely hear it now. Also the gauge is more readable with the needle not bouncing all over the place. My conclusion ... Buy a better gauge next time.
I wouldn't even waste my time with any cheap gauges. Learned the hard way back in my honda tuning days. With how inexpensive quality gauges are online these days I'd spend the money and buy something decent. Especially something like a boost gauge.
