Front Rotor Replacement

I had to use a puller to get my old front rotors off. They were welded on by rust. The standard whack did not loosen them. 74000 mile Replacement with cross drilled and slotted ones. Bent the puller, got them off. Used anti seize on the new ones. Sprayed a ton of brake cleaner on the surface of the new rotors to remove the dreaded 'silver paint.' Anyone else have this issue? How did you solve it?

You didn't hit them hard enough. I've seen way worse rust, they always come off.

I used a combination of nuts, bolts and washers through the caliper bolt holes to push the old rotors off.
