"eyebrow" accent lighting

A while back I had an idea for some LED accent lighting just above the headlights where the hood hangs over. Results as follows...

Had to cover up my corner lights, as they are so bright they interfered with the camera.

Gotta say, that's probably the only cool looking idea I've seen with add on LEDs. Great idea, and nice work.

You'll need two weatherproof led strips and enough 22-20ga insulated wire to reach the front turn signal wires. I tapped into ground and power for the front side markers. Driver side black- purple+. Passenger side black- grey+.

This is how I ran mine.

I ran my wires through the small channels on each side of the hood, then through the fender to the turn signals. Pretty simple. The hardest part was getting the wires through those tiny holes in the hood. You'll have to run one wire at a time.

Thanks for the props! I only use high quality LEDs, and they DON'T come from the local parts stores, Wal Mart, or ebay.

I have these as well but mine are in red. Makes it look evil.

I was planning on attempting chasing the same effect because I have seen $ub$onic's red set up a while ago on the forum. Nice execution, it looks great. I am planning on using a kit from ledunderbody.com
