Window channel removal.

So the black vinyl covering the external part of the B pillars is starting to peel. I want to completely remove the vinyl and paint it, but in order to do it nicely I need to remove the window channel. Anyone know the best way to remove them?

Funny enough, when you peel the covering from b panel it is already painted body color under.

Which sucks because I want it to be black to match window tint.

Better off getting new vinyl and redoing it in my opinion than taking parts off to paint. Also the window channel does not just come off without ruining it so you'd have to buy new once done. A couple have removed it without damage but most need new

You can also, if you decide to paint it and remove channel, you can buy the non chrome ones if you wanted to change to just black.
