Hello!
My check engine light came on a few days ago, scanned it and the code came up as P0599- Thermostat Heater Control Circuit High.
Basically I would love to know these things:
1-If my car is safe to drive next week? I have a long commute to and from work.
2-Am I looking at a costly repair that is really invasive?
3-Can I do it myself? Mind you I am not completely in the dark about cars but I am by no means a "Knowledgeable" car person
and
4-what the hell is wrong with it anyways. Coolant issue? Actual thermometer?
Also, I live in Las Vegas, NV and it is SUPER HOT out here. Could this be something that is caused by the extreme heat?
I have read a few articles but they all say something different.
Thank you for your answers in advance!!!
Britt
