Well, idk about that car, but Pat Moro's GRC Sonic will supposedly have AWD & 2.0T (how 'bout dem apples ehh)!

That TF4 Sonic is supposed to be a rally car, & we all know rally cars are TURBO, so it better be a 1.4T or all hell's gonna break loose hahaha!!!

I really just want that huge rally wing though...

you know movies man; they're a business first, entertainment second. it's cheaper to get a manual LS hatch and a body kit than an RS, and they can play fancy turbo noises over the measly putter of a 1.8 all day.

Yes but if you look on the inside pic, it has a mylink radio. So it's not a Ls . Maybe a ltz 1.8

They are neither 1.4 or 1.8 I got to take a look at a couple up close/on lifts recently. They are actually Mistubishi Evos from the firewall forward. The entire floor/center tunnel is from an evo too. Most of the body work is fiberglass and even the headlights are cutdown. They also for some reason have 4 racing buckets inside, imguessing camera crew?

I was only visiting the shop they were being worked on and they had a couple other movie/prop cars around and asked me not to take pics,so sorry I can't show anything.

And you listened to them! shame on you, you should've snuck some pics .

Just playing, that's awesome you got to see it up close.

The only thing I don't like about that sonic is the goofy looking low pro tires. If they had more meat it would look way more BA.

They actual had 4 cars when I was there, two had big wheels/lowpro tires, the other two had gravel rally wheels (with the larger spokes/hub to protect brakes) with taller BFGoodrich rally bloc tires, but those weren't mounted on the car.

They had two in the air that were damaged doing some jumps, they were remaking some fiberglass parts that got smashed. They also welded up a mount to the roof that is supposed to attach to a boom of some type.
