Default rattle under car

just thought I'd pass this on ... kept hearing a slight rattling noise as I was going down the road ... thought it might be the tailpipe .. grabbed hold of it and found that was not the problem ... crawled under the rear of the car to see what I could find ... there is a heat shield in the rear on the drivers side .. very thin sheet metal ... a couple of bolts were loose ... I tightened them up and pulled the metal away to get a little more clearance .. problem solved ... hope this helps someone down the road.

I had a rattle under mine as well. It was two "tunnel" braces that were never tightened down

I had a similar problem with the "tunnel" heat shield.
