Yeah not much different on the rs vs the others but they are different. Thanks for the info on the kyb. When it comes time to replace mine I'll more then likely be switching to those.The OEM rear shocks on these car's are a bit of a PITA to remove from the mounts. The KYB makes things easier by using an allen key for the shocks push rod and a smaller diameter nut that allows an offset wrench to actually fit in the recessed area of the shock mount.
As far as the RS rear shocks, I still wouldn't bother with the slight change. the KYB rears actually feel more composed than the RS ones do. There isn't really too much of a difference in feel between the RS and non-RS strut/shock. A little stiffer yes, but not much of a difference.
Well I sitting at work looking up parts. I notice koni has shocks listed for the cruze. Would the cruze shocks fit the sonic?

It's just wider... Same torsion beam but there's a link type anti sway incorporated.Doesn't look like it. The rear of the cruze has a different suspension geometry than that of the sonic.
