Hey all, so back in august I had the CV Joints replaced. It’s been making a low groan when driving and just lately it’s been making this metallic noise when feathering the brake pedal when literally almost stopped. So today I jacked up both wheels and spun them. I thought it might be something I didn’t do right when changing rotors/pads last weekend. The car stops fine and everything. I took both wheels off, and applied the parking brake. Put it in drive (I know dangerous) let the wheels spin freely, and the left side spun as good as can be, the right was complete stationary. When I would manually move the side that is stationary, it would act like it wants to spin, then completely stop again. The CV joint on that side obviously doesn’t spin either. When I tried mimicking the metallic noise I applied the brakes while still in drive and the entire engine, transmission, struts, basically whole front end moved completely forward and made the noise, did it multiple times and still does it. When I lay under the car and push upwards on the tranny I can see the whole front end slightly moving. Could this be The dealerships fault from the CV Joints replacement? Or could this be more of a motor/tranny mount? Thank you for the help in advance
