Big Turbo Sonic

So this review is long overdue. Let me tell the story.
Back in June I purchased the first turbo kit MPFab made for his car. The quality of the product is outstanding. With a turbo kit in hand I had to figure out how the hell I was going to get the car tuned. There is not a lot of local dynos.in my area. I considered zzp as they have quite the reputation for ecotec cars. However, I knew MPFab had tuned this turbo kit with hptuners so I asked him if he would be willing to tune it. Also I really wanted to meet the man himself He did not have problem with it. So we planned a date and the weekend prior to coming down I installed the kit. I drove 930 miles one way to get to his shop.
Upon arrival the plan was to boost leak test, road tune, then dyno. That did not happen. So prior to going down to MPFab's shop I had a bad rattling issue with the cat-back portion of my exhaust. It was extremely obnoxious and required some cutting and welding which I don't have immediate access to. When he found that out he did not even ask me if I wanted it fixed, he just went straight to work. Those fixes came with a new gasket, hardware, and custom made reducer to my 2.5" cat-back. With the exhaust fixed it was now time for a boost leak test. We pressurized the system and found several leak and fixed those. Then we noticed a high pitched whine and that was when we realized my manifold was split. I suggested just letting it go given it wasn't to big, but again walker does not have any tolerance for imperfections. We pulled the manifold, cleaned the split, and welded her back up. This may not sound like a lot of work but it took a lot of time to make those couple fixes. I would like to point out that Walker never once seemed frustrated, impatient, or unhappy he was fixing my car.
This trip was supposed to be a one day deal (Friday only). By the time we were done with all described above it was about eight o'clock at night and we were beat. Again, Walker wasn't at all unhappy about now having to come in on his saturday off to tune my car. Walker asked where I was staying and I said, I don't know, where is a good place to stay? He said theres a hotel up the road or you can sleep on the couch. Yes that is right, a couch in his shop. So I said the hell with it, yes. I had been up for 36 hours at that point and I crashed hard. That was one comfy a** couch But what was amazing about sleeping on that couch was Walker wiling to let me stay in his place. That said a lot about his personality.
Day two, we get up and put the manifold back on and boost leak test it. The weld held so we went out road tuning, then to the dyno. The dyno started off well but then went down hill as we turned boost up. A 2hr dyno appointment turned into a 5hour appointment all because the throttle wouldn't stay open. Again, I am not kidding, I have never seen someone so patient. I was beyond frustrated with the car, but his patients made the experience great. Also, he was extremely helpful when I was back home and needed help tuning.
To summarize: I would like to say thank you MPFab! I learned a lot from you just in the two days I was down there. I knew nothing about tuning and I can now make corrections/adjustment such a turbo DC, timing, requested power, AFR, etc. Your products are perfect, your workmanship is outstanding, and your customer care is like no other company. If your considering a part and MPFab sells it, I recommend his over anyone else. Keep up the great products walker. I can't wait to get your battery box!
