Default MAF Screen Install

So I'm fitting everything up today to install my new MPFab CAI kit and I'm wondering where to fit the MAF screen honeycomb.

It just fits inside the rubber coupler. Does it stay there, between the Intake tube and the Velocity Stack? The instructions say to push the Velocity Stack into the rubber coupler until it contacts the Inlet Tube. I'm assuming the screen is in between the 2... Am I right in thinking that?

Not to be a dick, but a little bit of searching does wonders. The instructions are right on the MPFab website.

MAF Honeycomb for MPFab Sonic Intake System - Morgan Performance Fabrication

It is pushed into the velocity stack itself, not between the two.

Ah, I did not think of looking at the part itself, I was just going by the provided installation instructions...

Thanx!

Install in the metal funnel itself at the tube end. I put 4 dabs of epoxy like the online instructions said also.

Did you purchase it from me or BNR? I Email the installations guides when the part ships. BNR has them on the site. I'm not sure if they have the honeycomb instructions though. I have a nice PDF I can send you that is far more in depth than the short description on the website. You shouldn't need epoxy.

Got it from BNR.

I had to scrunch it a bit around the outer edge but I got it to fit into the VS without deformation to the screen.

Thanx for the reply!

P.S. I did not use any epoxy, it's not going anywhere!
