For those of you clocking better MPG... what does your average speed show in the DIC? I'm running around 33mph, with a recent bump to 29.1mpg due to the cooler weather
So took a pic of most of the info from the DIC. I haven't reset the mpg meter since about august. Oh and I have a 104 mile commute everyday. 95% hwy.
Mostly using regular 87 gas. Recently that last 2 fill ups have been 89. And since it's cooler I don't use the ac as much either. My mpg went from 35.2 since august to that what's on there now.
But I've read everywhere that 93 does nothing for mpgs or performance. UNLESS you have a tune. I'm running stock tune RS 6spd. Since I drive so much and haven't modded or tuned yet, I'm looking for the max mpg until then.
On my auto LT, after I hit 15k I gained about 3 to 5 mpg... the dealer even said after 15k I would get that... right now I'm averaging 25 to 27 city and mid 35 to 39 fwy... if I keep out of the pedal [emoji6]
31-32 mpg. I feel better I thought it was just me being new at driving manual. I find I usually do 2-3-5-6. Or 1-2-4-6 depending on situation. Is this bad?
2013 RS manual. I drive 80% city, but I drive like a grandma most of the time haha. This is on 87 octane. I am in Indiana so I get all weather conditions. I haven't reset this since early summer.
