Parts that should have been made better???

Ok so i was an avid forum user when i had my rx8, and after having the air intake hose nearly fall apart after 40k miles. I decided to join up. I'm just wondering what other parts i should replace that are likely to fail? It's my wife's car btw, (1.8 auto). But I'd like it to be reliable. And parts not failing here and there.

Items on our 2012 1.8 auto LTZ sedan, replaced/upgraded

1. Air outlet hose - (cracked, sets code, admits dirt into engine)
2. Stabilizer end links - (clunking noise, rattling)
3. Thermostat assembly- (code set, no AC, insufficient heat, no remote start)
4. Shift lever (button sticks/broken) causes inability to remove key
5. Software update - key fob inoperative (have to open with key to reset)
6. Engine oil dipstick handle broken off (brittle plastic material)

Overall, just minor annoyances, no major mechanical issues. Not too bad for the first model year of the Sonic.

Plastic front bumper tabs are the worst! If you have removed the front bumper you know.

The plastic front air dam, falls off if you drive over leaves or wind.
