Default Great time to buy a Sonic - tell yer friends

Hello,
I just bought a 2014 Sonic RS from a new car Chevy Dealership with 3600 miles on it for $10K. Cars, especially small ones, are not selling right now because everyone is buying trucks and SUVs. So, tell all of your enthusiast friends to buy a Sonic. They are great little tuner cars. The dealership took my first offer. I maybe could have got it for even less.

Nice wrk, that's a steal. Definitely a much better car than given credit for.

I started RallyCross and the car is doing incredibly well basically stock.

Default Wow

I bought mine to tool around the mountains. I ski here too in Tahoe. I'm going to need a lot more power though. I'm shooting for 200 hp with some mods

Got mine for 5k and 100k miles. Swapped in a new tranny. Working on upgrading the other bits. It's my daily to and fro school. Best car I've ever owned.

Nice, I enjoy the mountains myself. I recommend General Atimax Arctic and Hercules Avalanche RGIII for snows, both excellent winter traction, price and tread wear.

Do a tune first. Period.

I have been emailing BNR through their website but I am getting no response. I would like to buy a tune and some other parts, but I wish they would respond to my email.

thank you for the snow tire suggestions. I had never heard of either of those brands. I have a 4x4 pickup, so I might just put snows on that.

Welcome to SOF!

Sounds like a good deal on your low mileage RS. Strange that you're not getting any response from BNR.

Post some pics please.

Only mods so far are GM Performance Intake, tint, and exhaust tip... and removed the back headrests for better rearward visibility.
