Default Front Stabilizer Links

Just pick a new left over 2013 Hatch on January 31. During the delivery process the service advisor said there is an open Recall to replace the stab link bushings. Basically they shrink as they age and they start causing noise. Bushings are replaced with ungraded ones. They had to order the parts.
You might contact a dealer with you vin and see if you the recall preformed.
Hope this helps.

I found about the same recall for my 2012 Lt. Got the links on order.

When I brought my car in to the dealer for its 6 month service appointment, I received word about this recall. The part had not arrived yet, they expect it tomorrow.

I found this out the hard way.

Less than 4,000 miles on my car I started hearing a groaning noise whenever I turned the wheel, traveling forwards and backwards, at low speeds.

Took it to the dealer and they told me "the sway bar bushings had seized." I was so surprised seeing how it was brand new.
Kinda like how there was a recall to put on front brake pads....

I had my friend who is a Chevy tech check and mine is under the recall. I'm at 8k with no noises though.

If this is a recall; has anyone received the notice by mail, or has this only been through communications with the dealer? I have two Sonics, and haven't received anything about this recall yet.
