Default Red Rampage #1 and #2 . . . Then & Now

Was scanning through some pictures and hadn't thought about a previous car that had the *It* excitement factor. . . my 1991 Pontiac Firebird.

Two completely different cars, yet both were "hatchbacks" and . . *ReD* !

The '91 Firebird was actually pretty good on MPG as well . . . 25MPG on the highway at 65 to 70MPH. I got 18 to 19 around town. Not the hot engine of course. . . . the not so popular TBI 305 (5.0L) V8. But it was better than the dismal 3.0L V6.

Both iterations of my Red Rampage are a fun to drive experience.

I really like these two cars . . . .

The Sonic is a fun driving car and feels roomy inside but goes around turns like it's on rails.

I was looking at the Australian Barina version which only has a 1.6L gas engine and 100HP. And some there say it is zippy enough.

I am satisfied with the stock 1.8L. Reliable with just a few, easily replaced maintenance items needed to watch for.
