So glad the spam was defeated. Let us never forget.

Cruzetalk is not as fortunate and has a real AMSoil problem.

I think the size of signatures should be limited. Some of them are seemingly endless and as someone who is here often on a 1366x768 LCD, it gets a little annoying scrolling through them.

I can agree to that. I know mine is larger than average and there are still some that are like

yeah yeah, that's what she said

Other than that, I think some of the master threads are way out of control. I understand the concept, and I think it works most of the time. But IMO it would be more effective if the OP stayed updated with answered questions from the thread.

IE the Scangauge/Ultragauge thread would be more effective if the HP2/TQ2 question, fuel tank size/engine displacement or power setting 3 to have it turn off the car were all answered in the OP. It would replace a lot of redunant posts inside the thread, and people are making threads blatantly saying they refuse to read the behemoths, so they're becoming less effective at that.

This would probably be a lot of work but what about the SOTM as the banner for the month or have the picture somewhere else on the site to make it more visable

Steve, that's a great idea as well. I know I was here for several months (admittedly not as active as I am now) before I knew what it was. I had seen "SOTM winner XXX" in siggys, but that's it. Similar story with being a site supporter

one suggestion i have is the "My Posts" tab.

On the cobaltss.net forum, everything is laid out basically the same as on here, but the "My Posts" tab isn't just a list of the specific posts you made, it lists the threads you posted in, and is much easier to go to to see if theres a new post there (bolds thread name to show new post kinda like the new posts tab)

but that way it saves people "clicking" time to see if a thread has a new post in it. you can just log in, and click on "My Posts" to see if the threads you're following have any updates, vice clicking on my posts, clicking on your post, and scrolling to see if there's a new post
