Is there a way to ignore forum members?

On another forum I frequent, we have the option to "Ignore a user" in our User CP - when you ignore a user, you do not have to see their posts.

Saves a lot of frustration, and until lately, there was no reason to ignore a forum member for me.

Yes, you in fact can ignore users. You have to go to their profile and administer it there. Select the "User List" drop down next to "send message" at the top of their profile page.
