ken block's fiesta is a full-spec, AWD, rally racing car having little in common with the showroom car.
If you want a souped up fiesta, I say go for it, to each his own.
Adding a turbo to a non-turbo car is not trivial. Done right, you need to pull and rebuild the engine to install lower compression pistons. While the motor is out, install a limited slip diff. Then you'll have to develop schedules for the engine computer for ignition, FI, etc
If you don't lower the compression ratio, then the amount you can boost is limited, unless you can do something fancy with the variable valve timing, etc
There may be aftermarket companies already developing these. If you find something, please post it up, I'd be interested to see.
The nice thing about a factory turbo is just reflash the computer, upgrade to 91+ octane fuel, and go have fun! Soon after you'll be wanting a LSD!
