Hello sonic owners!
Dr.Take two here.
I have recently got into a car accident while making u-turn, i wont explain the entire situation since i believe is irrelevant to my post.
I did however ended up getting hit and scratched in the back of my bumper, i will provide pictures. i would like to get some advice on what to buy or where to buy or what to replace.
the issue is that my insurance company deductible policy starts after 1000$, this means that they will cover everything after my initial 1000$ that i will pay for the damage myself. they have estimated the damage to cost about 1014$ which is funny to me, how after my 1000$ i will need them to pay 14$.
Dealerships from NY ( where i live) have quoted me 2300$ which i think is very expensive, (i also don't know for costs of repair anyway)
Due to this reason, i have decided to ignore the policy on the insurance and fix it myself for cheaper then the dealerships.
I have a 2013 Chevy sonic RS Auto.
after looking at the pictures, what do you think i should do, also where should i source out the parts for cheap? and which particular part is needed to be changed? also with the actual painting of things, i have seen parts (not for rs) that are primed and not primed, whats the difference and does it come with factory colors?
