So this has been an ongoing issue for me, it started about three months ago and I have not been able to resolve it.
Car ran a solid race weekend with no problems, I drove home accidentally with the hood not closed all the way, didn't notice any issues the following day, I eventually filled up the car that Sunday and started to notice that car now likes to backfire all the way through 3000-4500 rpm making the car jerk and loose power, it feels like the car is pulling timing and falling flat on its face since you can hear the turbo release the pressure.
I've sent several logs to bnr and tried different tunes to try to remedy the issue, I even switched back to trifecta for a little bit and it seemed to fix the issue for about a week, but then it eventually started it all up again. It's gotten significantly worse, and I'm on the brink of trading the car in and getting rid of it.
Things I've changed are the spark plugs/ coil pack/ fuel rail/ injectors/ checked for exhaust leaks. I have not ran a boost leak test yet because I have not found the time to get all the necessary equipment.
My mods: ZZP cat back with 2nd cat delete/ k&n typhoon intake/bypass mod/ ported Intake manifold/
If anyone is familiar with these symptoms and knows what the possible cause could be I would greatly appreciate it, I'm at the end of my patience with this car.
