2017 Premium Sound Speaker Wiring - Diagram w/ Pic

Looks like it's similar to previous years but I'm not 100% of which is which. Here's a pic of all the twisted wires, there are six.



Right to Left:

Yellow/Yellow and Black - Right Front
White/Blue and Black - Right Rear??? (process of elimination based on previous years)
Green/Green and Black - Left Rear
Blue/Blue and Brown - Left Front

White/Blue and Green - No clue? Tweeter?
White/Blue - No clue? Other tweeter?

Any help is appreciated. If I'm running a line out converter to my amp then back to the speaker wires do I even need to tap into the tweeter wire at all?

You're right. I had to do an LOC for my Sonic too because I wanted to keep thr MyLink Unit. I ran speaker wire from there to my trunk and connected the LOC there, then placed everything hid under the cargo mat.

Take the A pillar cover off and see what color the wires are that go to the tweeters. Send me a PM.

Yellow/Yellow and Black - Right Front

I can confirm these four based on my 2014 LT. When I replaced all the speakers and added an amp. My tweeters had the same colors as the front door speakers.

Also in that same bundle of wires there is a Purple with a Yellow stripe wire. Tapped that as my 12V remote line. It's switched with the ignition so when the car is off there is no power.

FWIW I can confirm that the speaker wiring is the same as previous years. I pulled the A pillars and snagged a couple pics. There are capacitors on the tweeters which I assume are crossovers.

No clue what the twisted white/blue and white/blue and green are. It's gonna bug me.
