So after about 10 months of ownership on my 2018 Sonic,I started to get a "Service Rear Vision System" message that stays on for about 4 seconds then goes away when shifting into reverse.Dealership gave me copy of a service bulletin #18-NA-284 that states this condition effects 2018 and 2019 Sonic,Trax and basically also every 2019 car or truck model in the GM lineup.
The service bulletin states for the dealership not to replace any parts and this condition is normal due to high workload of the system.I think this is unacceptable for a brand new car.It did not do it for the first 10 months of ownership so something changed and I think GM should offer a fix for this issue.Anyone else have this problem?
