42lb or 52lb injectors, e85?

So I am planning on a flex fuel set up soon and I see that there is either the 42 or 52 lb injectors. Any reason to go with the 52's, if so why? Same for the 42's. Is it worth having the extra bit of room to play with on the 52's ect. The reason I am asking is mainly because the 42's seem to be more popular.

Honestly unless you're going to run E85 for the bit of extra power or eventually upgrade the compressor wheel the 42lb injectors are not worth the investment of cost to gains compared to other supporting mods. If you're just wanting the ability to run flex fuel with mostly stock boost and a close to stock tune for E85 you can get away with stock injectors. But no one here runs a tune like that.

I heavenly tested all my supporting mods to see all the 0-60 gains and the BNR tune and the 93 octane tune on stock injectors vs 42lb injectors is same tune for power. And the E85 on 42lb injectors tune isn't much more power than the 93 tune on 42lb injectors to justify the cost.

Depending on your goals with the car you'd be surprised how much you can get out of the stock injectors with supporting mods. Full exhaust, intake and wastegate makes the car rip. You'll take off almost 3 seconds 0-60 with mods listed and stock injectors.

I'm only keeping mine as I'm interested in the Bnr compressor wheel upgrade eventually. But if you're looking to squeeze every bit of hp out of the car and don't care about cost 42lb injectors you'll eventually need.

probably should have mentioned the mods in here lol
I ported my intake, MP Fab intake, and straight pipe.
looking at my data logs though, my stock injectors are hitting 99% running a 93oct tune at WOT.

Just went back over the log, i peak at about 90%. I know that e85 takes about +20% more fuel though. So looking for an aggressive tune on e85 id assume id need the 42's, but the 52's wouldn't be necessary?

Yeah with your supporting mods 42 will be more than enough on the stock turbo for E85. 52s only with upgrades compressor wheel and E85. So you'll be good with 42s

You can always decap the 42s later too, if needed (Frankly you might be able to do it on your stock ones). Provides a cheaper option than bumping up to a larger injector each time you get more airflow.

Sorry, forgot to post about my findings. Well I went to look to buy the BNR flex kit but its been sold out. I ended up finding all the pieces on my own for a really good price. so for now I am looking at running the flex set up on stock injectors for right now considering premium is about $4 a gallon vs $2.25 for corn juice.
