81 MPG with the diesel Sonic

52 MPH constant speed with the cruise control + 30 minutes of bumper to bumper traffic. Air condition is on about 30 minutes. The road has ramps.

Here in the US, I hope they offer the Sonic with the 1.6D diesel that you can get on the Cruze. I'd "settle" for say 60MPG! ( That is apparently 3.36 l per 100km.)

Looks like it's British gallons, I think. These guys say 3.58 l/100km is 65.7 Mpg US:

The Opel Astra has the 1.6 diesel engine with 136hp power output. It's the powerfulest 1.6 diesel engine in the Europe market. Is it the same engine?
