Anyone do a "Big 3" Upgrade?

I'm interested in doing this but was wondering if someone already has and if so if there was any tips/tricks/pointers? I have a short temper and get frustrated easily and to top it off I'm a perfectionist lol. For those that don't know:

Definition: the "Big Three" upgrade means improving the current capacity of three cables: 1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) battery negative to chassis, and 3) engine ground to chassis. Some people replace the factory wiring; others add additional cables to the factory wiring.

P.S. I'm going to run a yellow top under the hood, and have an additional yellow top in the back, running 0ga from front to back then 4 gauge from batt to 1 RF T1500-1 and 1 RF T400-4 (all fused of course) ...After my audio/multimedia upgrades I'm going to focus on performance....give everyone time to fab up some goodies **BOV HINT HINT**

I have done the Big 3 Before on my 2002 Chevy Blazer. I upgraded the three main wires to 0 gauge. I also put a Kinetic 1800 battery under the hood as well as in the back. all of the wire front the front to back and from the back battery to the amp was 0 gauge. It just take time and a little patience. Getting the fat wire in the terminals so you can crimp them is the tricky part but other than that, it isnt to bad.

Are you keeping the car now?! I look forward to your earthing/grounding upgrade, it should be fun! And if anyone can get it done right I would pick you with your OCD tendencies.

I love the car and after they did the "shifter cable adjustment" it works like a champ, other than the passing signal indictor not working when moving at hwy speeds (which I can't get a return call about lol) I love it! The 4 chan and dash kit arrived today...waiting on my optima battery connection to come through (no pun lol)

On the note about the turn signal... I just had that same problem. My left turn signal worked every once in a while and then it just stopped as well as the highbeam flash.. I did all the testing and then gm finally came to the same conclusion that the switch was bad and they fixed it the next day

Tea i was pretty ticked considering ionly had 8k on the ODO. But they figured it out after i gave em a few clues lol. If they say they cant figure it out tell them to replace that
