Blue grease on seat railings?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a blue grease that forms on the back of the front seats railings?

For while now there has been a blue gooey substance that collects on the railings and I have no idea where it comes from and everytime i wipe it away it comes back a few days later!

Anyone know what it could be from? or why its happening?

Its on there to help keep the tracks lubed. Do you move your seat a lot?

I've got it too, collects on my passenger rear floor mat.

I've had it on my 03 Silverado SS, 10 Sierra, 12 Sonic and 12 Regal GS. Like everyone else said, it's the lube GM uses for the seat rails. The more you move the seats the more it will push out
