Broken key temporary fix?

So this happened...

The key fits in and I have room to fit needle nose pliers on it to turn but the fob has to be connected. I spoke with a mechanic buddy of mine and he said that if I can get the transponder close enough to the sensor that it will read...

I took off the underside trim and got a view of the ignition cylinder and it appears that the sensor is the cylinder...

Any ideas how to get my damn car started today. It being Sunday I can't get to the dealership to get a new key...

Cheap super glue might work? For some reason the cheap stuff works better. Might hold long enough to turn over? That's all I got. 1st time using these type of keys for me.

I tried Gorilla Glue super gel or whatever it's called I couldn't get it to hold well enough though. I'm going to try again with regular super glue, maybe hit the dollar tree for the super cheap.

Yeah, the cheapest glue seems to stick a whole lot better than name brand crap. Definitely dollar tree or dollar general. Good luck.

Don't you have a spare key? good luck on gluing it back together.
