So this happened...
The key fits in and I have room to fit needle nose pliers on it to turn but the fob has to be connected. I spoke with a mechanic buddy of mine and he said that if I can get the transponder close enough to the sensor that it will read...
I took off the underside trim and got a view of the ignition cylinder and it appears that the sensor is the cylinder...
Any ideas how to get my damn car started today. It being Sunday I can't get to the dealership to get a new key...
