For yins hooners that dint ken Blues Guitar, Taj Mahal (Henry Fredericks) plays SONIC Blues Guitar. I Wish corporate Chevrolet Sonic would put him to work for our car! Gotta love this man. Google him at Wiki and see why.

There are so many great Taj Mahal tunes, can't pick just one. but “Buy You a Chevrolet”, release in -- get this -- 1971 . . . is right up there. Love that funky bass riff! Just can't get enough of it . . . this IS MY jam. Makes me feel 18 again (actually I was 31 yrs old back in 1971!!!).
