Camshaft Upgrade Specs

Hello fellow Sonic lovers!
I dunno if this has been brought up.. none of my searches have brought up any results. I'm wanting to upgrade my cams since i'm going to be using a bigger turbo.
Does anyone happen to know the stock lobe measurement specs?
Also, any other internal specs (i.e. pistons, crank, etc) would be greatly appreciated. Then we can sticky this for future torque-lovers.

I think your addressing horsepower. We have a fair amount of torque, and cams and bigger turbo aren't going to help that as much as will horsepower.

There are a couple threads. A camshaft thread was started not long ago, and I have a1.4 Teardown thread with lots of pics, but admittedly not a lot of specs.

Pro tip: search with google, you'll get better results for threads on this site, than using this site' search function.

Also, what brand/size turbo? I'm about halfway complete on a GT2560 swap.

Hey Preloader. Yeah, I think I've seen a couple threads and I've spent a while reading over your teardown thread. great post btw..
And reference the new turbo, i'm not really sure. a friend of mine gave me a used one from his car he was parting out (not sure what vehicle though) but I don't think I'm going to use it. Instead, i'd rather suck it up and spend the money to get a new one that I know won't have been beat to shiz. I'm not exactly sure which one I want to go with.. I've used a few of those turbo size calculators online and on the android app store, and they've always gave the one you're using as an option.. How much did that turbo cost you?

maybe you havent been paying attention.. i said i'd found what little had been discussed about it, but those threads don't list any actual specs that i can use to get an upgraded cam custom made.

I did get it, but if it hasn't been posted it is unknown. Good luck in your quest for "custom made cams shafts". Be an innovator and drop the cash, you could be the first with a cam'd Sonic. But, it sounds like a regrind is your only option and the aftermarket makers wont touch them because of GM. Pull your head, spec your cams and flow bench your head and see where you can go.
