Canada Crew: Have you seen any Chevy Sonics?

For those forum members in Canada, have you seen a Chevy Sonic at a dealership yet?

Has anyone asked if their dealership will be getting them soon if there aren't there yet?

Chevrolet Canada does not launch the Sonic in here until Oct 3rd. Won't likely even arrive at a dealership until a few days before that.

I literally just joined this forum to say YES! There is one at Wheaton Chev in Red Deer. I am going out tonight to press my nose to the glass.

Ok, Here were are. I was a bit surprised at the final price to be honest since this was an LS (w/air + automatic transmission, no auto controls, no sunroof)and I build a loaded LTZ on the American Chev site for only 300.00 more then the sticker price of this car. Which I know Canadian prices can be expected to be a bit highers but... All in all from the outside it looked pretty sharp. I didn't get any real clear pictures of the inside though, but you can bet I left nose prints.

Nice looking car but I hope they bargain on that price a bit! $18,000 seems high, seems like the try to get away with it since one of the first in Canada.

18000 is CAD is about 17500 USD, plus the destination charge is probably more since it crosses the border

Destination was just over 1400 according to the sticker

Can you ever get them to drop Destination charges? It just seems bogus since they were going to ship a car to the dealer anyways.

Some dealers it is part of the final price, some tack it on at the end. One dealer I went to quoted me 17100 before a 760 destination charge, the other quoted 17300 after the charge.
