First the history of this adventure:
My Sonic 13 comes with outside convex powered but non-heated mirrors so i decided to change them, but first check if i had the wiring for heating function, took my multimeter and made some test with the wiring, for my good luck the wiring conector has too many wires in it so just need to identify which ones were the correct for turn the heating on. I found them in 1 or 2 minutes, so the next step it's to buy them on eBay, found the passenger side mirror easy at a very low cost including shipping (i live in México City), OEM and in very good condition. This was the easy part, find the driver side has been a pain in the a**, most of the sellers want a lot for the mirror or the shipping cost it's too high mostly for the eBay Global Shipping Program (what a BS program)
Finally i think i was found the right one for driver's side, TYC brand OE like, at first sight looks quality poor on plastics and in the mirror edges finished, after a few thoughs i decided to install it. That's when i noticed that the mirror was flat :blankface: nor convex as my original mirror. I took a couple of rides with this mirror but the viewer angle was very limitated making the blind spot bigger besides that every bump in the way make the glass mirror jump instead stay steady as the original one.
At final i uninstalled the TYC one and installed the original one, and still looking for a better cost, but here comes my doubth:
Is there a power heated CONVEX mirror version for driver side for the Chevy Sonic?
All i can find is flat for driver's. Does anyone know if it exist and/or where i can find it? No matter it is the whole unit or just the glass (prefered).
