Been doing some reading, could not find anything on swapping the Sonic 1.4t with a Cobalt SS turbo. Is the 1.4 strong enough to power the Cobalt tubro? Is the set up the same? (meaning dose it bolt right in, or dose it need some elbow grease) Can it be done? Has anoyone thought or tried this?

The cobalt is a k04 (if memory serves) it is a bolted on turbo ... The sonic gt14 is part of the manifold. Can not be unbolted and replaced.
That's just the begining of the problems.
Then when you hear the manifold for it to work with the 1.4 now you have to make the intake stuff work.

Oh man that sucks, what a bad design making the turbo part of the manifold.
I didnt think of it in that aspect. From a bolt on stand point it sucks just cuase now Ill have to replace the mainifold to get a bigger/different turbo.
