Delete radio favorites

Picked up our new Sonic and the Dealer (?) had already set the radio favorites. I read the manual and it explains how to set new ones but I didn't see anything on deleting. Basically I want to delete what the Dealer set and start over. I also don’t want to use every favorite available, only a few to start. I have a 1LT with the connectivity/cruise package if it makes a difference.

Just program new ones over the old ones. I don't know if deleting them is even an option, and I don't think it's even really necessary if you can program over them with the push of a button.

That is what I did. But the dealer set a station on every favorite so once is cycle through the ones I set it goes to page 2 favorites, page 3 favorites etc.

use the menu to limit the number of pages to the number of pages you are going to use...easy peasy!

My dealer set every Favorite to the ELVIS XM station! oh the agony!!!

SuperSonicChick, how did you get rid of Elvis? I haven't tried limiting the number of pages as Buldog suggested, maybe this weekend i'll give it a try.

I bet she merely reset the channels to something else as has been suggested.

I want to do what Bulldog suggests and limit the number of pages in my favorites, But I'm having trouble. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?


Configuring the number of Favorites Pages (Quoted from the manual)

To configure the number of available favorites pages:

1. Press the MENU/TUNE Button.
2. Select FM menue (I think that's the Favorites Menu, AKA the title of the page because I never see "FM Menu")
3. Select Favorites List.
4. Select the number of available favorite pages. (Never see this option)
5. Pres the <- BACK button to go back to the System Configuration Menu

Like I said, Step 2 confusing. Step 4 can't find.
