Driver Heated Seat Shuts off.

Anyone have this issue, or find a resolve to the issue? Now that’s is like 16 degrees outside id love to use my Heated seats... yet when I push the button the light comes on then goes off. Passenger seat works just fine. Also i dont remember if it always did this but, when i flick the switch (Automatically moves up/not holding the switch) to put my window closed most of the time it goes up and then comes right back down to the same spot. Is that normal?

Lately this car has been letting me down, from the Low Anti Freeze issue, to the heated seat not working and a whole slew of other issues i am disappointed.

Have a 2010 Silverado also that is letting me down with massive oil consumption issues. Chevrolet craftsmanship is lacking lately.

Car is a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic LTZ 6sp. 1.4 turbo. 60k miles on it.

Well i dont plan to take it to the dealer since im well out of warrenty. Was more wondering if anyone here had found a resolve to the issue. Seems kinda common.

I had the same issue. I have a 2013 Hatchback Turbo LTZ automatic. My driver's side heated seat stopped working. I would press the button, the light indicating the heated seats would stay on about 60 seconds and then shut off. No matter how many times I pressed it, it never would heat and would only stay on for 60 seconds. I took it in to the dealer for service and it turned out to be a module for the seat was shorting out.

I'm just out of warranty and mine doesn't work either, also my child safety door lock button has a dim light when it's off. I scanned the body module and came up with a short circuit code

Btw this started before I was out of warranty and the tardos in my nearest service dept were booked up too far out for me and rude!

I'm 14000 km over my warranty and mines doing the same thing it could have been buggered all along I just never needed my butt warmer till now burrr. I'd like to fix mine too

lol. we had those -24 wind chill days here in MD and i forgot i left a can of soda in the car. Well it blew up, along with the cup holder and such. Blew it into pieces... BUT for whatever my seat heater works again. But it gets nasty hot, like burns my butt hot now. It gets so hot towards the back of my seat its uncomfortable.

I remember Edmund's Inside Line having this issue with their long term LTZ.
