Factory Paint Problem

Hey,

So around 7 months ago I was washing my sonic.

When I noticed paint was coming off from my front and back bumper.

I had never been involve in any accident, I was my car regularly

So I was wondering if this had happened to anyone?

Was the vehicle purchased new?

Is there a possibility that it may have had some damage prior to your purchase, and was repainted without your knowledge?

It is unusual that factory paint would come off while washing.

I bought it new with 10 km from dealership . I asked around and some friend told me that probably the factory paint didn’t stick properly to the bumper... just wondering if anyone had any problem similar to this....

Good luck proving a paint defect to the dealership - especially on the bumper. They're going to say someone hit your car.

Pics? Was probably repainted at some point, that just shouldn't happen. These cars are robotically sprayed in very specific conditions, they don't just have paint "not stick"

Yeah that’s what the guy said... I’m like dude never been in an accident .. but he kept insisting FML -.-

It's possible the dealer did a respray of the bumpers; possible transportation damage and the repair not disclosed.
