It's a very light film caused by two things. One, the chemicals in your car being let off by the materials (ie the new car smell). Two, you smoke in the car.

Im not a smoker and don't allow anyone to smoke in the car...Ive used everything from standard windex/papertowels to having the dealership clean it with industrial cleaner...Keeps coming back. SO bad infact that I can actually see the suction cup rings from when the windshield was initially installed at the GM factory. I live in oregon which is a fairly humid, very rainy climate, but dont leave the windows down or anything if its damp outside, and i keep my interior very clean... This is Driving me nuts!
