Header options?

What are the header options for the 1.8?

I'm semi tempted to just create my own equal or close as I can to equal long tube headers for this thing for when I start monkeying with it

I'm more leaning towards a longer equal length, but I may turbo it
And while yes it won't effect nearly as much compared to NA
The spool and response will be better because of less turbulence
If I do go with a short equal length I can retrofit for it potentially
But I'm not completely sure on going more than na
Because the stock auto is only open diff and I don't know of any lsd or way to weld it

( yes I'm actually seriously tempted to completely lock it if possible, it's not exactly a race car
And 90% of its track days will be at a drag strip as well as dealing with harsh winters )

It's not hard to daily a welded
Many do with little more noticeable tire wear
And a little noise won't bother me when going slow

And it can be even more race car because a lot of rally cars that are fwd actually will run lock completely

ZZP and BNR I believe are the only two options besides custom.

I was hoping for more than those two
Not exactly hard to make headers either and I have access to the tools for it so I'm more than likely doing that

The market is so small that companies dont want to invest the money for R&D when they know the market is unwilling to pay an appropriate price for the part. I ran a BNR header for a while and its fantastic. Its been off for a couple years since I pulled it in the winters, but never got around to putting it back on. I also have a ZZP 4-2-1 prototype that I never got around to testing out.

The options at least did exist as I am unsure of availability on either option at this point in time, but the market was really small.

would you be willing to entertain the idea of selling one of your headers?

Probably not. I doubt I would get an offer close to what it would be to replace either. I know they are used, but I dont need to sell either and there is a possibility that at some point the BNR will be back in the car. The ZZP header, I have my reasons for not selling it and they also pertain in part to why I wont buy ZZP parts anymore.

Care to elaborate as to why you won't buy from ZZP anymore. I am just curious.

Lack of quality and poor customer service/modifying parts in an improper manner without asking the customer, shipping said parts, and then offering to correct it with some customer expense involved.

That is about as far as I wish to elaborate in this thread.
