Heater Core or Coolant leak covered under Powertrain Warranty?

My 2014 has 55k miles on it and there is coolant leaking near the Heat Core between the driver and passenger side dash. Definitely coolant and not ac dripage and its also making moisture almost looking like steam come out of the vents if you use the fans at all on hot or cold ac on or off and so the car fogs up in the rain inside.

Is this leak something that would be covered under the powertrain warranty? I dont want to take it, and i'll fix it myself, if its not and Iv'e already had to deal with the intake pipe not being covered under warranty.

Exclusions: Excluded from the
powertrain coverage are sensors,
wiring, connectors, engine radiator,
coolant hoses, coolant, and heater
core. Coverage on the engine
cooling system begins at the inlet to
the water pump and ends with the
thermostat housing and/or outlet
that attaches to the return hose.

ah... so now I know why in the other thread the guy is draining his coolant. One needs to pay for hoses one's self.

Thanks for sharing... who knew if a hose goes after 35K miles that is not covered. How does one get the heater core out...it sounds complex.
