So many of you know YouBeTailsIllBeSonic took a road trip across Canada and the United States, for Canadians, we travelled from New Brunswick to Alberta, for Americans thats from Maine to Montana.
I purchased the 10gb data that Onstar Canada charges 80$ for, I know, Ridiculous. I was ensured this data would work between the two countries we drove in, it did not. We had to charge my phones roaming data for GPS to use on our system, so technically I paid now 230$ for a ****ing GPS in my car for 4 days.
They would not grant a refund since we used like 10 mb of the data in Canada before we crossed the border and they assured me my plan was cancelled.
Now that was in December, a month later I get billed another 80 for ANOTHER MONTH of data that I thought was cancelled.. Heck yeah I called them as soon as I seen the charge and after an hour on the phone with Phillipinos I have given up. They will not process any refund since the billing is provided by AT&T, and get this since I cancelled it, I can no longer use the data I just paid 80$ for.
In conclusion, Onstar is nothing less than a scam. 310$ for 10 gigs of data, go **** yourself.
