Is there a difference between Sedan and Hatchback front body parts (Hood, Grille, Fenders)?

My son was in an accident and I'm looking to replace the hood, lower grille, and right front fender (the fender was from a separate incident when parked at school). When looking for replacement parts, I keep running into "For Sedan Only", and his is a hatchback. Obviously, the parts are different on the rear of the car, but they sure look the same on the front to me. 2012 Sonic Hatchback 1.4 LT. Can anyone shed some light on this? I tried searching, but came up empty handed.

I believe the front parts you mention are identical for both, but that is based on my observations only. Recommend you call your local GM dealer parts department and they should be able to tell you. The best source for used parts are do it yourself junk yards. I use lkqpickyourpart.com. They have several yards in my area and prices are reasonable. With some luck you can even find parts of the exact color as the car you are fixing so there will not be need for any paint work which is always expensive if done by a professional body shop. Several years ago I was able to find a rear bumper in very good shape for my 2009 impala for something like $ 45 and it was exactly the same color as my damaged bumper.

When I look up the right front fender, part 95473426 many places say fitment hatchback/sedan LS/LT/LTZ/Premier '12-'18 only excludes the RS model.
